Cage 91 Co. can exclusively reveal that successful Miami-based entrepreneur and businesswomen, Andi Neugarten-Maio will today launch the Miami Women’s Padel League, in what is a bold, progressive new step in the fast-evolving story of the United States’ padel industry. South Africa-born Neugarten, who boasts a background in marketing and business, and, herself, is a successful former tennis player and triathlete, spotted the opportunity to launch the league in America’s “padel mecca” Miami, after becoming hooked on the sport one year ago.

The Miami Women’s Padel League will launch as the first league of its kind in the United States, marking a transformative moment for women’s sports and, what is widely considered the world’s fastest-growing sport, padel. Led by 6LoveSports (6LS), a pioneering organization in women’s padel, the league officially kicks off today at Reserve Miami Seaplane Base at 5pm Eastern Time and aims to foster competition, community, and growth in Miami, a city now widely recognized as America’s padel capital.

Breaking Barriers in U.S. Padel

The league’s launch reflects a broader ambition to establish women’s padel as a cornerstone of the sport’s growth in the United States. With Miami already leading the charge as a padel hub, Neugarten sees the league as a unique opportunity to amplify the visibility of female players and create a sense of belonging within the sport.

“This league is about more than just competition,” Neugarten said. “It’s about giving women a stage to thrive, to connect, and to lead the growth of padel in the U.S. Miami is the perfect place to start, and we’re thrilled to be at the forefront of this movement.”

With events planned at standout venues such as Reserve SoLé Miami and Reserve Miami Seaplane Base, the league will serve as a gathering point for players of all levels, combining competitive play with community-driven activities.

A Celebration of Community

The league’s launch event is expected to set the tone for what’s to come. Featuring an exhibition match with top local players, alongside food, drinks, and a wellness market, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement. “Seeing so many people come together for women’s padel was inspiring,” Neugarten said. “It’s a sign that Miami is ready to embrace this sport on a whole new level.”

The vision goes far beyond Miami, however. Neugarten is adamant about making padel accessible to women everywhere, starting with grassroots initiatives. The league’s success could pave the way for public courts, school programs, and an influx of new players, fueling the sport’s development nationwide.

A Vision for the Future

For Neugarten, the league’s launch is only the beginning. The dream is to see U.S. women’s padel take its place on the global stage.

“The potential is enormous,” she said. “We’re not just building a league; we’re creating a movement. The future of padel is bright, and women will be at the heart of its success.”

The Miami Women’s Padel League aims to be a model for how women’s sports can thrive through community, visibility, and collaboration—a blueprint for the sport’s growth across the U.S.
