Last week, Miami Beach was the centre of the racquet sports universe. It was the biggest week in the history of padel, tennis, and everything in between, all happening right here in my hometown. Premier Padel, RacquetX, and the Miami Open collided to create an unprecedented celebration of sport, bringing together the best players in the world, industry leaders, and passionate fans.

For me, it was more than just an event—it was an opportunity to showcase what I love about Miami. Living less than a mile away from all the action meant I got to experience it all up close: the incredible padel clubs, the perfect weather, the top-tier restaurants and nightlife, and, most importantly, the unstoppable momentum of padel.

The Energy of Miami Racquet Week

There was something in the air last week—a buzz, an intensity, a feeling that something major was happening for racquet sports, particularly for padel. The Miami Beach Convention Center was the epicentre of it all, hosting Premier Padel in one hall and RacquetX right next door.

Walking into Premier Padel felt like stepping into a dream for any padel fan. The world’s best players were everywhere—accessible, engaged, and truly invested in growing the sport. The list of stars was endless: Triay, Brea, Coelho, Tapie, Chingotto. It wasn’t just about watching them play; it was about conversations, networking, and feeling like part of a movement.

And then there was RacquetX, a groundbreaking convention that brought together over 5,000 attendees from across the sports world. It wasn’t just a trade show but a meeting point for the future of racquet sports. Brands, club owners, investors, and athletes all came together to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and discuss where the sport is headed. The hands-on activations, panel discussions, and insider conversations made it clear—padel is exploding, and the U.S. is finally catching on.

Women’s Padel Takes Center Stage

One of the most exciting parts of the week was the undeniable spotlight on women’s padel. The 6love Sports women’s tournament, held inside RacquetX, was a huge step forward for the sport. Women’s padel has long been in the shadow of the men’s game, but this event proved that female players deserve just as much attention, investment, and respect. More visibility means more opportunities—sponsorships, media coverage, and participation—and this tournament was a powerful statement.

Personally, one of my proudest moments came on Sunday at RacquetX when I took centre stage on the panel “Game Changer: Women Leading the Racquet Sports Revolution.” Sitting alongside fellow founders and industry leaders, we had a candid discussion about the future of women’s padel, the challenges we face, and the incredible opportunities ahead.

The Bigger Picture: A Defining Moment for Padel

Last week wasn’t just about great matches or industry networking—it was a defining moment for padel in the U.S. Premier Padel’s presence at the convention centre gave the sport a huge boost, proving its credibility and attracting attention from investors, sponsors, and media outlets.

The result? Padel is no longer a “niche” sport—it’s here and growing fast.

For women’s padel, in particular, the momentum is undeniable. The community is expanding, the talent is thriving, and more doors are opening than ever before. This is just the beginning.

For the Love of the Game

Miami Racquet Week 2025 left me feeling inspired, energized, and even more committed to pushing padel forward. The sport has given me so much—community, competition, and a never-ending obsession—and to be part of its growth at such a pivotal moment is truly special.

The future of padel is bright. And for those who are all in—it’s only getting started.
