Playtomic’s global growth advances with the announcement of four major partnerships with top-tier clubs across the U.S. This development represents a pivotal moment in Playtomic’s worldwide expansion, highlighting its dedication to building dynamic, engaged padel communities in key markets. But what exactly is Playtomic, and what impact will their expansion have on the clubs and the sport in the U.S.? Cage91Co. investigates.

A closer look at Playtomic

Playtomic is the largest global community for racket sports clubs and players. Through the Playtomic app, players can search and book courts for padel, tennis or pickleball, meet new players, find opponents, join groups with other players or improve their game.

Helping to foster an active community of racket sports enthusiasts, Playtomic is now operational in 57 countries and rated by more than 4 million players in more than 6,000 partner clubs, or more than 21,000 courts.

Playtomic is on a mission to ensure that whenever you think about your favorite racket sport, you only have to worry about playing it. They promise to remove the stress of booking and finding players of a similar playing standard to you. In the world where courts seem to be nigh on impossible to book and finding a group of similar standard players is not much easier, it seems Playtomic have huge value to add wherever they go.

Who are the partners?

The clubs partnering with Playtomic—10by20 Fort Lauderdale, Cube Padel in Houston, I95 Miami, and Padel39 in Austin—are located across Florida and Texas, each offering top-tier facilities with cutting-edge courts and exceptional player experiences. This collaboration with Playtomic is set to further elevate these clubs, enhancing their growth and impact within the padel community.

Speaking about the newly formed partnerships, Félix Ruiz, CEO of Playtomic said: “We are thrilled to welcome 10by20 Fort Lauderdale, Cube Padel in Houston, I95 Miami, and Padel39 in Austin to the Playtomic family as we expand our operations in the United States and seek to bring the American padel community together.”

By integrating them into our platform, we aim to elevate the player experience, streamline club operations, and ultimately contribute to the growth of the sport across the country.

“These clubs are not just venues; they are the beating heart of America’s growing padel community where players come together to enjoy the sport they love.”

“Identifying clubs in Florida and Texas – the US’ two leading padel states – is part of our conscious strategic approach to grow America’s padel community. We believe these clubs are pivotal strategic partners in key locations which will help accelerate our growth in the United States. We look forward to adding even more clubs to grow our portfolio as the sport starts to accelerate in what is the world’s largest sports market.”

U.S padel is here to stay

This is just another example that goes to show just how valuable the US padel market is becoming. With the huge success of the first US Open, the newly announced Anglo-American Cup and the countless quality courts and clubs popping up throughout the US, surely this has got to be considered one of padel’s most exciting frontiers.

As Playtomic continues to expand its presence in the US, this journey is poised to have significant positive ramifications for the growth of padel, tapping into one of the largest, if not the largest, sports market in the world.
