The Philippine Padel Association (PPA) proudly announces the successful conclusion of the FIP RISE Manila by BENCH Active, the first-ever International Padel Federation (FIP) sanctioned tournament held in the Philippines. From November 13 to 17, the Manila Padel Club in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) became the center of the padel world, hosting 122 players from 29 nationalities, forming 61 teams, and competing for international ranking points and a prize pool of €12,500 (₱780,000). This milestone event brought together top padel athletes from across the globe, including Dutchmen Sten Richters and Bram Meijer leading the men’s draw while Spanish sensation Carla Fernandez Gonzalez and Dutch Rosalie Van der Hoek leading the women’s draw. The tournament’s electrifying matches and the remarkable sportsmanship displayed by the players captivated fans and strengthened the Philippines’ position on the global padel map.
Highlights of the Event
• Men’s Final: The fifth-seeded pair of S. Nogueras Lorenz and M. Bernils Garcia triumphed in a thrilling match against third-seeded J. Prins and S. Jones with a scoreline of 7-5, 7-5.
• Women’s Final: British duo Aimee Gibson and Victoria Nicholas clinched the title, benefiting from the unfortunate retirement of top-seeded players Rosalie Van der Hoek and Carla Fernandez Gonzalez due to injury.

PPA President Alenna Dawn Magpantay celebrated this historic achievement, stating: “The FIP RISE Manila by BENCH Active is a testament to how far we’ve come in developing padel in the Philippines.
