There’s a New US Open in Town! The US Open has long been etched into the annals of sporting history, representing the pinnacle of achievement for countless athletes. This year, for the first time ever, padel players will have their opportunity to compete for this prestigious title in the iconic setting of New York City’s Padel Haus Dumbo.
The first-ever US Open Padel Championships will be held at Padel Haus Dumbo from October 4th to 6th, 2024, bringing the final Major of the Nox USPA Circuit to New York City.
When the 2024 US Open Padel Championships kick off next month at the iconic Padel Haus in Dumbo, it will mark a turning of the page for US Open sporting history, following alongside the US Open Tennis Championships (established in 1881) and the US Open Golf Championships (established in 1895). It will be the first-ever Padel tournament of its kind and will join the rich tradition of Open Championships in America, which have been won by athletes including Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus. It follows the recent US Open tennis held at Flushing Meadows, marking another major moment for racquet sports in the city.
It was perhaps only a matter of time before padel was inaugurated into this prestigious tradition that is the US Open, however the United States Padel Association (USPA) has today made a bold move in securing Santiago Gomez’s Padel Haus as the inaugural host of the Championships.

As the number one padel operator in New York, we are excited to welcome some of America’s and the world’s best players to the Big Apple for this milestone in padel’s young history. We can’t wait to welcome New Yorkers to see the best of padel in just three weeks’ time.”
The USPA has announced that players will be competing for a $15,000 prize pool distributed equally between men’s and women’s divisions. The tournament will feature three divisions for both men’s and women’s events, welcoming the best ranked players from around the USA and the world, promising high-stakes competition for all participants.
